A few years ago ( when i didn't have my XSR ) I decided to go to the Croatian coast on my 50cc Gilera Runner scooter since I still did not have a real motorcycle. It started as a joke and everyone thought I was crazy. Everyone told me that you can't do such a trip on a 50cc scooter. 50cc is too weak, it will break down, and it can't be done. Well, I packed my things, checked the scooter and I was on the road the next day. During the trip, I slept on the beaches, in the forest (hikers' lodge ), in a borrowed hammock, and on the floor of my friend's apartment.
It turned out to be one of the best trips I ever had. In 15 days I've traveled around 1600km, met some amazing people, I've made new friends and I've seen some beautiful places. So don't get discouraged if you don't have the biggest or newest motorcycle, or if people will tell you can't do it. The adventure is right in front of you. All you need is your will.
