Hi Everyone,

Lots of custom exhausts for the XSR700 equals too much choice. Appreciated if we could make that choice easier by posting pics of XSR700 with custom exhausts and/or any thoughts in this thread.

Thanks

Akrapovic Titanium from the FZ/MT-07 fits and looks good.
I have that exhaust, and it doesn't sound as beefy as in the video. What have you done to make it sound so beefy?

It's not my exhaust but the owner has taken the baffles out.

Right. I've been thinking about it, but I'm afraid it will be way too loud again. The other option I saw was to drill some holes in the dB killer. But if you do that you're stuck with holes forever, you can put the dB killer back in again if it's too loud at least.
That Akrapovic titanium is definetely my favorite, even if it carries MT07 name ! Has anyone mounted it him/herself ? easy to do ?

I'm interested in hearing about this as well along with how the sound might have changed slightly after riding around with it enough. Apparently even exhaust systems need a bit of a break in.
Hi all!! I bought the titanium exhaust but i decided to install it on a garage, because you must to take out all the foot pegs bracket fit and take your time...

I take out the db killer to hear how it's sounds... and it's very very loud! Finally i decided to make the holes in the dbkiller and now it's perfect, and if you want a new one, they aren't expensive.
It's a really nice exhaust, though Mivv states at the site that it's not street legal!

In pretty much most countries no-cat exhausts are illegal. That doesn't stop many owners from using them...

You can add one of these which should make it legal... i guess?

Break-in??

There are no moving parts in an exhaust, so no break-in is needed.

I don't know, I sent them a message about it and their response was
"Hello,

in a few weeks will be available also the high level Ghibli that will be street legal:"
If legallisty is your main concern, the only aftermarket exhaust that is worth looking at is the Akrapovic Titanium with catalityc converter (bought seperately) and leave the baffle in. The dual one might be fine as well so it comes down to aesthetics.
Thanks, underslung akro gets my vote.
