Anyone here seeing possible issue with that seat height? I'm 5'10-5'11 and quite sure it will be good for me but I know it'll raise concern for the shorter riders.

depends on inseams really... not a large issue. If you just go to a local upholster you can get a custom seat made for about the cost of an aftermarket one...

I believe that the xsr is only a half inch taller than the fz... all the reviews so far report that the ride hight of the fz is quite manageable for the lions share of riders. I imagine that anybody that would have an issue with touching the ground here would be hard pressed in finding something they didn't have trouble with.

If your friends are worried about the height issue, they can most likely go to a motorcycle dealership and try out any bikes with a similar height and see how that feels.

If the size and height of the XSR is similar to the FZ-07 then your shorter friends should be fine. The fz has a narrow body so those with a shorter inseam should be able to plant their feet at a stop. Like he said ^, just try a similar bike at your local dealership to see if it's a suitable height without any modifications.

Thanks for the information guys.

Good point about the FZ-07 which will be a good way to gauge the XSR for the time being, i'll pass the information on.
