Yesterday evening, I was invited by Yamaha with some other XSR's owner to talk about our new beloved bikes. It was interesting to meet the designers of the bike (from Japan, obviously) and to talk of what we like and don't like about the machine.
It was also kind of cool to chat with the other owners. One of them showed me a few aftermarket parts he bought.
Maybe you guys already knows these site but they do a few cool things for the XSR and MT07.

I really like the chain guard, it's also pretty affordable. I bought one for myself and I should get it at the end of the week. I will post a picture if someone is interested.

Hi Ben, thanks for sharing.
The chain guard looks really nice indeed. If your feedback is positive, I'll get one too !
Were there things about the xsr700 that everyone unanimously did or didn't like?

And that chain guard kit looks great, even comes with rear splash guard.
I bought a radiator guard from Urbano Bruni. It's a well done item and perfectly fit out XSR. Absolutely necessary in order to prevent small rocks hitting directly the radiator.

Urbano Bruni Looks like very well made with nice fit and Italian flair . Very smart .

I just mounted the chain guard, it looks and feel really solid and nice. It's definitely a must have for the xsr, and it is pretty affordable (less than 60€). Really easy to install too.

That does look rather quality, matches really well. Looks like an oem part, and it really cleans it all up.
Love the chain guard. I upgraded my bike with the Yamaha one but would have gone for this had I seen it.
I also mounted radiator guard Urbano bruni but now I feel like a small vibration that seems to come from li..dovrei rismontarlo to give it a try ... you have mounted using the supplied washers ?

I have good hearing ..at times too good ! and to a certain number of laps I feel a slight vibration, like a shot ringing ..if i press the clutch stops .. I've heard since I installed .. I just have to find five minutes to do the test without ...

I was reading a discussion and perhaps it is this of which I speak :
