This thing:
Not too safe I think, but is okay for leaving it at daylight or in a relatively safe place.Yeah it should be there...
Do you guys actually "trust" that cable? I mean, do you lock your helmets to it and leave the bike alone? I always feel like it would be easily cut by a pair of scissors....
I dismounted the metallic and the plastic pieces under the seat and didn't found the cable. The next Monday gonna ask the dealer about it.Have you looked on the under side of the seat? There should be a small tool bag, it should be under that bag! That's where I found mine.
No, its brand new. I´ll go ask the dealer the next Monday.![]()
This is strange Artorius... Did you buy an used bike?
I downloaded the owner´s manual in my phone, so I can keep the book in home and save some space. That's exactly how my under-seat looks like!
I managed to put the documents and the insurance into a little, transparent plastic paper and then put them all toghether into the black plastic Yamaha's little bag. Documents and insurance are a bit "compressed", but this works, is water-proof and an easy way to have them always with me on my bike!![]()
This is how mine looks, minus the cable.Ok I went to the dealer and gave me the cable, he took from another xsr on stock haha.
Probably they did the same on mine because someone lost his own cable .
My under saddle is different too.
PD: Where u guys put the bike´s documentation and insurance papers?
I put right over the tools.
The screws weren't last threaded or so it told me the mechanic, maybe I was a little scared of forcing the screw.
