Thumb brake and disc lock pouch

Finally managed to get a gptech thumbrake fitted!

I've removed the standard rear brake lever/cylinder and now use the bar mounted thumb brake, due to a missing right leg......

Also - managed to source a retro leather pouch for an Oxford mini disc lock and fixed the pouch just under my seat.

Hopefully this weekend will be sunny so I'll post a few pics!

Sunny ride & thumb brake pics

Hi all

Took her out for a run around Asbourne and Matlock this morning..stunning weather and loads of fellow bikes out too.

As promised, I've attached pics of thumb brake I've installed along with a small leather pouch for a disc lock

Have seen some great bikes out, but also some really bad riding - keep it safe out there ok!

Until next time, when I'll post Cat & Fiddle pics!!

What pouch did you get any pics ?
That thumb brake is great! We did a Gold Wing with both front and rear on the right hand lever. Got tips on it from Dr. John Wittner, who did a MotoGuzzi endurance bike back in the mid 80s. They did the brakes with a proportioning valve to the rear to adjust the pressure to suit the track and their front braking. We had a sidecar on the Wing so we didn't have any problem going without the proportioning valve. Just used a big enough master cylinder to do the job.

It's always great to learn about these sorts of things should we or someone we learn of needs something like this. What master cylinder kit did you use? Never know when that topic may come up. Thanks.
