Thinking about camera location

Hi guys!
As title says, I'm thinking about installing a camera to keep a track of what happens around me. I wouldn't like to set the camera on my helmet as I like to have the helmet as clean as possible, not even stickers or else on it!
I honestly don't really like the idea of having a camera edging out from anywhere, so I would like to install it, but I'd love to have it nearly "invisible" to others.
So basically I was wondering if there could be a location on our bike where I could install the camera and have a sufficient eye on the street around me. I've seen some YouTube videos of ppl having a camera installed under their tail tidy so they could record what happens back to them. That's somehow an idea of what I'm looking for, but I'd like to have it mounted on my front! So I was thinking: "Maybe something similar, like a camera installed under the big front light of our bikes?", "something else?", "quit the idea at all?".
Any suggestion / help / opinion / experience on this will be appreciated!!! 🙂
Thanks in advance

I've wondered about this, but bike mounted (could be bar or mirror mount?) only captures what's dead ahead.

Helmet mount picks up whatever you look at - like an incoming cager!

Now, can anyone tell me why all the action cams are as aerodynamic as a brick?!?!?!

I see your point and I agree. Don't you think a camera with something like 120° eye angle would be enough just to track things in the "cone" infront of you?:nerd:
Also, I totally thought the same when looking for action sport cameras on the web. They're little boxes, pff...
have you considered a dual camera?
They have a screen/recording unit which you hide somewhere under the seat - they have two cameras which are small, waterproof, etc. and you can put one facing forwards and one backwards. just have a google of motorcycle dual camera, plenty of options on ebay. cheers

Have you LOOKED under the seat? I don't think there's room for a pack of ****!!! lol

Kranith - I was looking over my bike the other day. There's a flat panel immediately below the headlight that looks suspiciously good for mounting a GoPro...
