Have you checked your chain for correct slack?

I know it sounds unrelated, but I was noticing some noise at low speed/
low revs and it was caused by the noise of my overly slack chain.

Mine does the same especially when its cold. Sounds like classic tappet noise - I was always told it's better to hear tappets than not to hear them as it suggests a healthy clearance, so I wouldn't worry about it!

Could be exhaust fixings (header bolts/clamps) needing a wee turn, cam chain tensioner at the end of its current "click" or as Tigerjohn says "They all do that sir".

You probably don't have anything seriously wrong but your definition of "Tappy" and mine could be miles off. It is pretty hard to make any recommendations without personally hearing a noise that someone else tries to convey to another. The age, number of miles, and overall condition of the bike are also helpful when trying to diagnose a problem, sight unseen.
