Morning All,
Long time lurker both before and after purchase of my XSR and have found a lot of posts extremely helpful and thought it was time I contributed.
Purchased my bike second hand from a Yamaha employee who had the misfortune to drop the bike after a shaky first ride, shattering his knee. The bike was repaired (small minor cosmetic damage remaining) and bunch of accessories were added at the same time.
I picked it up for a pretty good price, along with a single seat and a number of other parts not already fitted with only 10km on the clock and have been extremely happy!
The exhaust went on within a week and other bits have been gradually getting added along the way. The clock is now approaching 1000km and the first service after regular commutes to Norwest and Alexandria, as well rides to the CBD and out west and around Olympic Park.
