SP engineering exhaust

Well after much consideration I decided to fit an SP engineering stainless system, i went with the brushed stainless finish to match the tank...which it does.

I received the exhaust the day after it was ordered and my first impression was of the quality and finish of the exhaust....

The system was as usual listed only for the MT-07, but I knew it would fit the XSR....and I was right, the only part which need some adjustment was where the can/silencer straps to the rear pillion bracket, as I had to space it out slightly to clear the bottom of it.....a simple job although I am going to make a bespoke bracket to tidy it up when I get the chance.

The exhaust is in 4 parts:- 2 downpipes, 1 two into one pipe, a double bend section and the can/silencer....It Took me less than an hour to fit and went together perfectly.
I'd already read reviews on the SP system and knew it was going to be loud, so when I fired her up it was like thunder.....sounds amazing and sounds like a totally different bike now.
Took her out for a good blast with my mate and his MT-07 which has a LeoVince system on it and it really does sound incredible....plenty of pops/bangs on the down shift and coming off the revs....put a massive grin on my face and can't stop blipping the throttle:grin2:. So all in all I'm very satisfied with the result.

Congratulations on the new exhaust. I knew you had something up your sleeve when you said you were getting an exhaust nobody had mentioned on here. Sounds really nice!
That's pretty crazy loud man ! Love the pops too though. But hey, for a first attempt at a video, I think it was a success ! Good stuff and thanks for sharing !

I wanted it pretty loud:grin2:, it does sound amazing and whilst it's loud it's only like the straight pipe Harleys that are around.....why should they have all the fun haha.
Thanks for the thumbs up on the vid too...

Holy sweet **** that is demonic ! Off of a little flick that thing is roaring at you. I love loud but that is definitely something I'll be able to run with for a long time.
