Solo Seat

Anyone here rocking the solo seat from Yamaha's Heritage Shop? The stock seat is attractive but a little uncomfortable for long rides (2+ hours). I figured it would be easy to swap seats if I wanted to ride with a passenger. Anyone that can chime in?

I found the solo seat firmer than the stock seat - a bit too firm for me - so I sold it and went back to the stock seat. On long rides, I use a sheepskin cover on the stock seat - cheap and effective.
The solo seat is not the most comfortable seat but not the original one either.
It probably depends on the shape of your backside as I find the single seat slightly better for me than the stock one. I also use a sheepskin which also helps, although I've not put it on yet.
Thanks for all the replies! I have also considered the flat seat, but don't know if I really like the styling vs the stock seat. Maybe I'll consider adding sheepskin and call it a day.
The flat seat is much more comfortable than the stock seat...and looks great imo. It is slightly taller than the stock one, due to the extra padding, so there is that to consider as well.

Interesting! Thanks for all the responses. I think I might grab a flat seat and use it exclusively for longer rides and use the OEM seat for shorter trips. Best of both worlds!
