Hi guys, I just got the kellermann bullet 1000 rear running lights/brake/turn signals. I wanted to install them alongside a regular brake/running light unit. I've been looking at the xsr700 wiring diagrams and while the negatives on the turning signals go directly to the battery negative, the negative on the brake/running unit leads into the instrument cluster. I know I have to splice some stuff but could someone double check my work?

Also, for the brake unit, what's the best method to splice into a wire without cutting it?

Images are too big to post so here is an imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/n7bwMwd

*Edit: Also if anyone can recommend an adjustable indicator relay that would be awesome as these are LED's

If you want I can take a pic of my install :
- 2 rear running / brake lights / turn signals
- 1 tail light (running / brake lights)
;)

There were these wires and connector in the Rizoma tail tidy kit :
I just added 2 more wires for negative, 2 more for running light and 2 more for brake light (with female connectors).
So I have 3 wires for negative, 3 for running light and 3 for brake light.

You can find these wires + yamaha connector : https://www.europacc.eu/pieces-tech-consommables/2390-kit-de-branchement-feu-arriere-kawasaki-suzuki-yamaha-3000000063968.html
Yamaha connector kit is for non OEM tail light.

so just splice in the extra leads to the brake lines, and leave the indicator negative unused, like in my diagram? (I know it's hard to make out)

Since the blinkers are routed differently than the tail light, I would want to be able to disconnect the tail light from the blinkers at will. For that I would need to splice into a male/female cable, which would plug into the bike on one end, and the tail light on the other. You linked a male/crimp solution, do you know where I could find a male/female cable?
