A friend of mine suggested I get the RC8 baffle for a bit more exhaust note to hear the engine in my videos.
For me is at the limit of acceptable but not juvenile obnoxious like without any baffle

You can hear the sound here (what limited cabability the GoPro has)

Ah-hah! yes, thank you. That seems to sound good. I had seen that mod floating around a few years ago. Do you by chance have the part number? I have the MT-09 baffle in my carbon akra right now. I have the model akra you need to drill out the weld and beat the living sh*t out of it to get the baffle out. I didn’t like the stock baffle in drilled or cut off (that I tried in several configurations.) Just never sounded quite right.

For touring he RC8 baffle is too loud and I do prefer the Akra stock with just the internal ends cut a bit shorter. Short rides around town are OK-ish
But since I wear earplugs (I use MX/Adv style helmets because of heat) the noise is muffled enough to be tolerable for hours on end.

I do not have the part number: my friend told me but it has been a while since I got the baffle.
It was ordered from UK (much cheaper than locally in Australia)

Thanks Very happy, even with some small flaws that nobody but myself will notice I say to myself that I'm getting the hang of this, so maybe I'll re-wrap this one after I'm done with the rest of the parts. We shall see...

I've even had a go at some "custom" vinyl badges. I'll save those for when I put everything back together...
