SCORPION SERKET TAPER STAINLESS STEEL FULL SYSTEM EXHAUST FOR YAMAHA XSR700 / MT-07 / FZ-07
---

In very good, lighty-used condition.

Sent to me direct from Scorpion at the end of June 2017 then shipped on to me elsewhere in Cyprus in July arriving with me in early August.
Finally fitted to my new 2017 Yamaha XSR700 later that month.

As such, this exhaust has seen only around 250miles of use, and all during the inititial break-in period of the bike, so never above 6000RPM / with WOT / speeds over 50MPH.

Condition is therefore as you'd probably expect for something that's been fitted for this gentle use in a country that sees very little rain (in fact, the exhaust has never been used in wet weather).

As such, cosmetically the muffler/silencer is excellent, while the connecting pipes display the usual colour change from standard use and a little spotting from road splashes etc.
(Absolutely no dents, dings or obvious scratches to the pipework though - basically what new pipes would like like within a couple of days of use.)

Note also that I have not heavily cleaned up or polished the metal to hide use.

This is how it came off the machine, apart from a light coating of ACF-50 wiped on before photographing and then packing up.

(Also note that due to this there will likely be some smoke coming from the exterior of the exhaust the first time you fire it up as the ACF-50 reacts to the heat - don't confuse this for exhaust gas).

---

The only reason I'm selling is I rather caught the customisation bug and decided to 'black out' my machine, including a Black Ceramic coated exhaust.

However, having now fitted a different exhaust, I still believe that the Scorpion suits the retro-industrial style of the XSR700 better than any other unit out there.

It also has the great advantage of coming with TWO user removable baffles/db killers.

This really lets you set the noise level you're comfortable with and also allows you change the sound profile in under a minute.

The sound (especially with the end baffle out) is notably beefier/bassier than many of the popular Italian units I have heard.

The exhaust is complete with all of the original packaging, instructions and retail box with the remainder of the 2 year warranty.

(Another benefit of the Scorpion is that their motorcycle exhausts never need to be repacked and if ever crashed, Scorpion offer replacements at heavy discounts).

---

Photographs to follow during the week but in the meantime, here's one I took of it before removal, on my 85% completed machine.

Price is GBP £380 firm (~EU €430) + shipping
(Shipping available Worldwide, from Cyprus)

Hi nightic.....do you know how much postage to UK would cost? I might be interested.

Hi Tigerjohn,
Will check this out for you tomorrow and let you know.

Just checked - the complete box comes in at 4KG (as stamped on the original address label from Scorpion) and would run exactly EU €27 (about GBP £24) using "EPG" (one of the quicker postal courier services available at the Post Office here).
It's delivered by Royal Mail/Parcel Force in the UK - taking anywhere from 4-7 days to arrive.
Thanks for the postage info, nightic. As an imminent house move means some belt-tightening here, I think I'll have to pass on it...... but someone on this forum really should buy it! Good luck with the sale.

No problem - however if you don't mind waiting about 4 weeks, I'll be in the UK again and would ship for free from there.
Same applies for any UK buyers - will ship for free, assuming mid December delivery.
For other EU buyers, will deduct the cost of UK shipping, so within Europe will cost €20 and Worldwide €25 to send.
Hi
Is this still available ?
Yep, still for sale.
Haven't got around to taking photos of it off the bike yet though - hopefully tomorrow or by end of the weekend.
Haven't received one.
