Anyone know someone who have done this or tried it themselves to fit R1 forks on the XSR700?

I saw that Rough Crafts have done it on their "Flying Phantom", and wondered if it is a big/complicated job?

I like inverted forks and would love to have radial brake calipers on my XSR.

Thanks!

Inverted forks looks great! Dont know about the R1 front end, shouldn't be to much of a hassle... I got my hand on the XSR900/mt-09 front end and it fits from the get go, the only thing is the steering stops that you have to make... They are a bit longer then the xsr700 forks, 2 inch to be exact so I raised the rear end as well... I'm going for a more adventure look so pirelli mt90 tyres... Next upgrade will be spoked wheels!

Otherwise to fit the R1 front end you can swap over the XSR700 triple tree stem and fit it on the R1 triple tree?
