Looks good man, can someone explain the main reason for blanking out their number plate?
Cause it makes it vulnerable from web sniffers and easier for thefts to duplicate plates for stolen XSR looking like photos posted...Looks good man, can someone explain the main reason for blanking out their number plate?
How do you fix the stock blinkers ? Have you got a pic nearer ?Cause it makes it vulnerable from web sniffers and easier for thefts to duplicate plates for stolen XSR looking like photos posted...
Besides those bad considerations, the R&G tail is a nice alternative to the round stock rear light, pretty cool look. I preferred fitted S2 Concept tail tidy, like Ben who shared pics (thanks for that). I first hesitated with the Barracuda also discussed in another topic but the S2 keeps intact the original design of the tail, by just removing the ugly plate holder, which I wanted...
I fitted back the stock blinkers like (for now) after removing the flexible part of it, which make them half shorther!
Here is a pics.
I'm pretty happy with the quality, the only thing that I found it was while I was riding it shoock too much with the bumps on the road, but I've done an upgrade and now the whole structure is strong enough.Looks good.
I was thinking about ordering this myself, but on the pictures it looked a bit flimsy. Are you happy with the quality?
I decided to do something about the tail myself, I'm almost finished, will post some pictures soon.
Also I'm really happy that our number plates here in Switzerland are much smaller.
Yes, it comes just with tail light, and 4 adaptors for new blinkers, that's it!@teet xops is this the tail tidy you purchased? does it come with the tail light and indicators in the photo? http://www.rg-racing.com/browsebike/Yamaha/XSR700/2016/LP0193BK/#prettyPhoto

I removed the flexible part of the blinkers (that have a notch specially designed for the stock tail) in order to have a sort of plane surface to work with. As a compensation I just added a seal washer in order to absorb vibrations. Finally I reused the screw that originally fixed blinkers on the stock tail. Here are few pics taken in my garage, sorry the bad light..How do you fix the stock blinkers ? Merci Jul !
Thanks I'll let you know how it turns out after few long rides on bumpy roadsGood move by adding the washer

In a previous post you mentioned this is an S2 tail tidy. The only one I know from them for our bike is the one with the plate holder attached to the rear swingarm, hanging behind the rear wheel. Is this also from S2? Can you post a link to the product?
I realise this is a 2 year old post but this is exactly what I am looking for, so I hope you still see this!
