Not a direct answer but I am 5' 10" and I was too short until suspension was lowered.

I’m from Ontario Canada and quite excited to learn the XSR 700 will be available next spring! My question is a simple one, at 6’2” am I too tall for this bike ??

In a word, no! Like most Yamahas, (unlike most Suzukis), the XSR is fairly tall. You should be fine. Best try one for size when you are able to, just in case.My question is a simple one, at 6’2” am I too tall for this bike ??

I'm 6' and it fits perfectly. The mt was way too cramped so I'm sure this bike will be much better. If in doubt pop to a Yam dealer and do a side-by-side comparison
It's a great engine - had big twins and 1l sports bikes but this is comfy, stylish and has plenty of kudos and umph. Definitely my fave ride
Just get rid of the stock exhaust - it's awful.....

When you say it's awful, do you mean the sound, appearance, or something else? Asking since in the US we don't have these anywhere yet to go check out in person.Hi

Is the current Yamaha SXR 900 seating simular ,we have those and I find it cramped ??
The stock exhausts looks fine, its the lack of noise that ruins it! However, there are loads of different after market systems to suit all budgets

I'm 6'1" and it is perfect height for me. Seat height was one of the reasons why I got it.
