I used to do that ride when I lived in Brooklyn. Always amused me how packed it was in the summer. As if there’s nowhere else to drive.
I havent discovered too many other routes of similar distances yet so I guess I’ll have to wake up early for these not-too-far-from-the-city places. 😅 Did you move out of ny?

Riding on fun twisty roads on the weekend has become no longer fun; police hassle, road rage, peak-hour style traffic, dangerous inexperienced drivers cutting corners... all a bit too much for me
Welcome to the real free riding, where I don't have to gaze the speedometer and dodge idiots: rural backroads of South East Queensland

thank you. Creating inspirational images is part of the enjoyment, including to keep myself motivated to go on new adventures.
I spend less time polishing the bike and more time making it dirty. I laugh at people asking on forums on the best way to keep it shiny
I've been keeping mine dirty too.
I haven't had a chance to go camping yet, but I've got a few places in mind for this summer.
I'm also using a camping tarp, it's easier to put up than a tent and takes up way less room.

Here's another. I haven't figured out how to post multiple pictures yet!

Any advice would be welcome. 👍

An excellent job Christian, I'm looking forward to seeing the mod list as I haven't seen those rear covers or the clutch cable cover before. The bike flows very nicely and I really like those mirrors, I'm still to settle on a set I like. I'm hoping to pick up the IX race exhaust but in stainless steel - I see you are missing a spring there though. Really nice bike!

Velkommen, Christian. :)

Definitely heavy on the mods ;) Very interesting.
And a great design of the tank. The colour suits the bike.

One way to upload a video is to insert a youtube-link. Not sure if you can upload a video directly in a reply.

Ride safe.

Hey Woody

Thank you so much. A nice welcome. The spring is missing due to wrong exhaust fitting where you fix the mufler on the passenger footrest (MT07), so i can't fit the spring before the i get the new part. I choose the black mufler because i ordered the decatalyser from France. I am going to ceramic powder coat the complete exhaust system in black.

The vinyl coating on the tank is made from a local coating company. Nice result, i agree.

Hejsa og tak.

It is easy to put to many mods on the bike. But hard to limit as there is so many options. Are you still happy about riding your XSR700? Not many seen on the road here in "Nordjylland".

Yes, I really like the bike. I went for a track day last year and will do another later this Summer - in the meantime I have updated the shock suspension since it had its shortcomings. On the street it's such a fun bike and the engine is a star. It is more than enough for my driving capabilities and I like to keep my licens :)
Plus I think it is one of the best looking bikes out there - I like the retro look.

I live in Roskilde and I rarely see any XSR700 and XSR900, a lot of MT-07 and MT-09 though.
