Unfortunately that's nearly impossible in Germany :cry:

When I look at your pictures, I believe the Ténéré 700 would be the better choice for you ;)

it's true: I had trouble finding dirt roads in Austria but plenty over here in Australia.
That Ténéré that everybody is suggesting I should have. I had one, years ago, the original with 32L tank.
I used it like it was designed for: serious off road and trips; but these days I no longer have the friends that are keen on adventure. Now most think that a coffee shop that is more than an hour away from home is already adventure :ROFLMAO:
I enjoy riding the XSR, the "inappropriate" bike on dirt roads and honestly it's almost more fun, it's lighter than most ADV bikes, and there are only a few times I wished I had more suspension/clearance.
It's not what you have, it's how you use it ;)
