So i've followed the XSR hype since October and have finally sold my triumph bonneville to get my own. In early jan i was in my local dealer opening a box fresh, garage metal bike, had a sit on it confirming my love. On monday this week i went back to the same dealer and bought the bike i sat on at beginning of month. Can't wait to pick her up tomorrow

Need to book mine in for my 600 mile service. Yes, even in this weather. Still managed to cover those miles since late Dec. Including the week of snow.

Wow, you're doing the first running in December...you're my new hero!!!
I know this wheter conditions are not the best for testing a motorcycle by the way, how do you feel with the bike?
For now i just sat on the bike and, with the original seat, i had the impression the seat made me slip into the tank.
I also tried a bike with the Single Seat and i do not had this impression
It was just a stationary impression? When you ride the bike do you feel something like that?

**** Kaptin, you've beat me. I'm still 150 miles out from my first service.

I find the seat very comfortable, especially on longer journeys. After a 4 hour ( should of been 3, I got lost, twice) journey on the new year weekend in the miserable rain I was still smiling ear to ear and not sore or anything, just very wet.

It's easy to rearrange yourself if your uncomfortable.

I've only had mine since saturday but clock 167miles. Im based in berkshire near ascot.
