I'm 47 - are all XSR700 owners now getting on a bit and now prefer something a little cooler and unusual (and comfy!), than the youngsters 'crotch rockets'.......!?

When you hit 40 I am afraid comfort plays a big part!

But we can still do cool!

bugger me that was my own personal understanding I'm getting old
Just joined the forum. Got my xsr700 a week ago and I'm 64 but feeling half that now.
Welcome Stretch. Medics have spent years trying to find products which will help us defy the ageing process - we've found it already! Perhaps the XSR 700 should be available on prescription! It really is a bike which cuts across the generations with a very wide appeal. Take it steady, mind, as reaction speeds slow down after 60 (I should know!).
You youngsters..... 62 now. 😁.

Ps. Welcome
