O2 Sensor problem

Hello all, my check engine light came on at the weekend and after taking it to the garage I was told the o2 sensor was faulty and that it would cost £167 pound to replace! Typically my warranty ran out last month.

I have however seen o2 sensor eliminator kits available for £12 on ebay. Think these are designed for aftermarket exhausts but i was wondering if any of you on here have used them or what people think of doing this instead of forking out for a full replacement.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Steve.

If you are looking for an advice - just get a sensor on ebay or somewhere cheap online and replace it. 2min work
