Bought myself an XSR700 last week, a stable mate for my RV200 :)

Only managed to get out twice so far and both times was a bit drizzly :(
I know now what XSR stands for Xtremely Satisfying Ride!

However, I'm pretty sure I'm going to like this bike, it's certainly a handsome beast

Welcome, Anthony. Good to see you've got some colour coordinated straps! Looks like you're located in some great biking country - whereabouts are you?

Hi TJ, I'm in Poole, Dorset.

Funnily enough I bought those straps a few years ago and that one has sat unused in the packet ever since. It seems I was always destined to buy a Yellow bike :)

I am living with Raspberry Red...all I need to do now is powdercoat the rims something like chrome and I'll like it better. Black rims suit the 60th anniversary livery much better ...and I'm sure you're right...we will NEVER see it here...

I WAS this close to buying a used 900 in 60th anniversary livery...for $6900 or slightly less...but decided I wanted the smaller bike. Already have a 105hp VFR...

Fowlers is great for Euro only Yamaha parts. I had mine tricked out with a bunch of stuff from them.
