Hey everyone, I'm interested in getting a set of the Mesh covers (inserts) for the Aluminum side covers (fill in the 3 holes) that yamabits sells in the UK (I'm in USA).
Here is the link: https://yamabits.co.uk/yamaha-xsr700-mesh-covers-b34-f17u0-00-00.html
So I'm trying to avoid paying $70 (including shipping to the states) for just two pieces of mesh insert, so I was wondering what anyone else (especially those of us in the States) have done to get this look? Thanks in advance!

Stainless steel rodent mesh works fine - mine came in 6" x 6" sheets. Cost is minimal. All you need to do is trim it to size and glue it in place (although the side panels are a pretty tight fit anyway). But, if you want to pay $70......... There are threads on the 'mesh mod' somewhere.

PS You only need one sheet - it's enough to do both sides.
