Hey guys,
Maybe a simple question for you guys, but i’m having a hard time choosing some black levers. Keep finding the barracuda levers and the billet levers. What are the other options. I don’t want them to small but not as big as the stock levers. Also They need to look awesome offcourse.
Hooe to get some help.

To repeat some advice I gave previously:

I think most after-market Aluminium levers, especially with cut-outs, prominent lever tips and very angular ergonomics, are too sporty for the XSR700 and look pretty generic at that (i.e. somewhat sharing the standard $20 ebay Chinese lever style).

The best fit, imho, are the Gilles Tooling ones (B34-FCLLE / B34-FBRLE-00-00, not the FXLs), although they're only available in a full finger version (and non-folding).

Otherwise some of Rizoma's (specifically the LBJ / LCJ range) seems a decent bet (stupid price alert!).

Personally, I went for a pair of fully Blacked-out CRG RC2s for an industrial and non-generic look. (see attached image)
(I opted for shorties, although their ergonomics means they're a hybrid size, comfortably allowing 3 finger use, if required.)
They're not perfect though, and had Gilles Tooling made a short version of the above lever, that's likely what I would have gone for (despite, again, daft pricing).

Stay away from Strada7 on ebay bought them for my xjr1300 and after one summer the have turned brown.
It can´t withstand the uv-light from the sun. :(

I bought a pair of long V-Trec levers, which are a good fit and finish.

V-Trec also make short, folding and variable length versions as well, so there are plenty of choices.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. This helps me a lot. I think I will choose between the ones from evotech or V-Trec.
The V-trecs look like copies of Puigs models and note that the Evotechs have been reported to be a little uncomfortable (due to how angular they are).
I think the Puigs look good FWIW - they're on my shopping list

Hello Nightic. I like the CRG RC2s with the black adjustment dial... Where did you find the blacked out version? Everything Ive found has a red dial.

CRG sell the Black parts separately, for USD $20, IIRC.
(They were listed as "CLICKER + POINTER KIT – BLACK” at the time.)
