Hi everybody

I bought those Parts some. 4 weeks ago and just got it fitted .
First of all i want to mention the very poor Quality of the Parts,
The Sidecovers have been full of deep scratches, holes, dents and uneven in General. I expected more specialy for this Price Tag.
The Box it came with on the otherhand was in a good shape.
Took quiet some time to fix all this Things.

But afterall it was worth the effort since the Parts realy do look good on the xsr. :)

Looks good mate, thanks for sharing. How did you fix holes and unevenness?
With alot of filling Paste and grinding..again and again ;)
Looks good.
Looks like you did a good job in straightening the parts. Looks really nice and blends in. Good job.

Disappointing for those of us who've been drooling over pics of the awesome Super 7..... does anyone from JVB monitor this forum and wish to comment? Meanwhile, potential customers take note!

Nice job, G4RFIELD.
Did you contact them and complain...that sucks...you would think they would sell straight clean parts...super 7 need to improve their game.
You might have just been unlucky, the front fender I had off them was faultless.

Could be, other People were very satisfied with jvb parts. The Framecovers were also flawless just the sidecovers have been awful, it looked like the final production step got forgotten or customs raped the parts :|
Do you have to paint jvb parts yourself?
Was it hard to find a matching color?
yes i did myself (first time ever i painted something :D )

i brought it first to a professional painter in the first place, but the Price for rework and paint turned out to be almost the same than the parts itself.. so decided to do it myself ;)
to be honest i just picked the first mattblack i got my fingers on in the store and a satin clearcoat. I wished it turned out in a deeper more matte black..maybe i will rework it again haha
Turned out quite good when I look at the pictures.
Where did you get your chain-guard?
the chain guard is stock
Hm, different color on the chain-guard on the forest green model then, I didn't know that. On my anniversary bike the chain-guard is metal.
