How do. I'm back, upright and rolling.

Ian Bell in Newcastle did a spot on job. Some of you may not have known, I was the first XSR700 ON the road in the UK soon to be followed by being the first XSR700 to come OFF the road.

She's now back and in the garage, avec MT-07 Akro pipe!

I couldn't bring myself to wait for the official Akro for the XSR700 as it's so similar to the MT-07 pipe.

The baffles area already out and my neighbours are already hating me :)

As a 35 year old father of two in a nice upper class neighbourhood, I'm now "that guy". But my kids love it so I don't care :)

Nothing says "Wake the f**k up and get off your phone" like a quick wrist snap and some BRAPPPP BRAPPPP into the drivers window on the commute in.

This bike is so offensive now. It barked, grumbled, popped and rattled in an understated way with the baffle in. However a few minutes later and now it will wake the dead.

It sounds like a 1300 V twin. Immense!

I'll get her washed and put a video up and some decent (SLR) snaps in the sun.

If you can find a 2nd hand MT-07 Akro, do it!

Game changer! i didnt even know that style of akra fitted the xsr. I had the baffle out on my carbon and it was far to obnoxious and the popping and banging is the bike losing back pressure. Normally without a remap/fuel controller you'll be losing power, worth thinking about. Glad your back on the road man :D

Ahahaha, indeed that is dedication.

Guys join me at south Spain. Here we got many cool roads and a good weather: http://www.bbc.com/weather/2521886
That's where I need to move, what sucks about living where gets snow is even when it all melts, you still have to wait for roads to be clear of salt, then you can ride and that's the most painful... nice weather but roads full of salt.

Those that don't own a bike or ride would just hate the noise :wink2:

Those that ride would only understand that it's like music to the ears or a wake up call for some others haha

Glad she's back up and running!

Looking forward to seeing the video of what it really sounds like!

I'll try and get a video tomorrow. I was on my lunch so only had chance to pull over on the way for a sandwich. I'll have to find a quiet road and leave my phone propped up ... Wish me luck.
