After One year without a bike, I'm looking for this beautiful new XSR.
With a baby now, I want a cool bike but I'm not ready for HD yet :)
My last one was a 1000 GSX-R K4 "streetbike" that I loved tuning.
I'm 40 and I need to be calm on the road for me and my family
I hope I will enjoy my new choice :)

Welcome to the Forum! When do you expect to get your bike?
I have plumbing works and earthwork at home.
When I finish (probably september), I look for my XSR :)

Bienvenue parmi nous Hotwheels !
Bienvenue !
Merci les amis V

I'm looking for garage metal XSR If possible (a used One).
If not, a 60th anniversary is good too ;)

I already have in my mind the design and the mods I want to do on the XSR ;)
1) change the handlebar for a lower one (I have a 28mm ABM in stock)
2) change the tail for a tidy one (home made I think)
3) change the headlight for a smaller one (keep or not the bracket... I love the headlight of the HD 1200 XR)
4) remove the mirrors
5) cut the front mudguard (I had the idea, Ben done it !) ;)

4) I keep the oem turn signals because I'm too old for the tuning one :)(If I change them I would take the BMW led one... Expensive change, but the result is beautiful)
5) I keep the oem exhaust. The oem one is enough for my age and my old ears !! :)
And my little girl (2 years old) is frightened of noisy motorcycle :)
In my opinion the oem exhaust is aesthetically cool compared to the other bikes...
And after a lot of bikes, exhaust change brings nothing about power
6) No change for the brake... They are efficient. Probably aviation hose swap only.

I like to modify my bikes, but XSR needs minor modifications ;)

At least if you don't find the exact color you want you can always wrap it which with bikes is easy enough and cheap to do, much easier and cheaper to do than on a car.

You might even be able to do it yourself.
