Hello from Portugal!
I've been browsing the forum for some time and finally subscribed.
I own an XSR700 since December and I am very happy with it.
Previous bike was a Yamaha FZ1, so this was quite a change to me...

Cumprimentos!

Hey welcome to the forums and congratulations ! Bike looks real good ! What have you done to it so far ?

Thanks!

Made some changes:
oem radiator guards, fork gaiters and led blinkers
Termignoni exhaust
Powercommander Fuel Controller
removed air box snorkel
Ohlins shock
Very cool mods !
How do you feel it with the Ohlïns rear shock ?
What is the sound of the Termignoni ?
Hi Mazze, welcome !
Great mods, also curious to know more about the Ohlins shock.

Could you post more photos of the blinkers ?

Cheers
Welcome! Interesting mods you have done. Do you notice much difference with the Powercommander Fuel Controller?
What is the purpose of removing the air box snorkel?

Welcome to our family. I see you've changed the rear shock, is an Ohlins 46DR1? How does perform? And the power commander? Did you change the air filter too?
Thank you all for your comments!

About the mods, here are my impressions:

Ohlins S46DR1
A bit of a disappointment. I was expecting the same performance as the Nitron NTR R1 I had in my FZ1 but it is harsh and rebound seems weird. It as improved over time and maybe the settings are not correct.

Termignoni (no cat)
Beautiful sound but loud!
It comes with two different db killers, one is an open tube and the other is closed with side holes. I settled with the last one because the bike feels stronger in low revs, but it is faster in the upper range with the open tube.
I haven't tried riding it without db killer, but the sound is amazing and not much louder.

Powercommander FC
It is just something to play around, not really necessary. The PC website doesn't have a map for the Termignoni exhaust so I contacted them and they suggested I tried the map for the Akrapovic. Works very well, I don't feel any weak spots and the bike pulls like a train from low revs.

The air filter is stock and the snorkel was removed to improve the airflow but can't say if it made any difference because it was removed when the PCFC was installed. Anyway, this one is free.

Overall I think that the performance gains are minimal but it does feel more exciting to ride. In time I will replace the air filter and maybe take the bike to a dyno.

I have a Nitron NTR 1 and a a Matris FSE fork kit. Changes are huge compared to the stock version suspension, day and night. Probably the best mod I've done but also the most expensive one.
