Welcome to the forums ! When do you plan on pulling the trigger and buying one ??
Welcome Sergio

You'll love it when you get it....:grin2:
Welcome to the forum.

Good choice on going with the XSR! What bikes have you owned in the past? Anything more in CC than the XSR?
Olá Sérgio..
I have driving exame on 04/07 and allready told the dealler not to call the police because of that guy sleeping on the door of the stand on 5/7..
Are you from Lisbon??
If so where are you making your deal??

My latest bikes have been most of times scooters 125CC. And yes is a big step for this type of bikes...but i am very careful, and i do not like to speed, i prefer to take drive along the sea and mountains.
I have almost finished taking the driving license:laugh:
Olá LisbonMekat,

I am from Porto. My dealer is "Antero" in Vila Nova de Gaia.
"Antero" has one of the largest motorcycle shops.
So far they are giving me a discount equivalent to the legalization expenses (+-300euros), but i want to include some extras on bike (akrapovic, black protection to the radiator, etc..)

Welcome to the forum.
Are you also looking for aftermarket parts? If so, what will you be adding down the road?
Olá Sergio...
The radiator in black is a must... The XSR900 as such a tinny radiator...The XSR radiator is for me the only negative issue, and the price compared to MT07...

I will not have a discount, i have a Suzuki VanVan to trade in the deal and that´s not a good commercial bike in Portugal..

We should meet in the next "Lés a Lés" :)

Abraço..

I got the radiator cover and painted it black using regular spray paint. The result turned out pretty good in my opinion.

Sorry for the poor resolution on the before part of the picture, the camera on the phone was not the best.

Yes, i will try to buy the motorcycle with some Yamaha extras

- Aluminium chain guard
- Billet Frame Tube End Caps
And exhaust (akrapovic mt-07 or sc-project)

sc-project (i llike this one, i found this picture on the internet)

Yes is true, the radiator is the one thing that i do not liked. I will put the black cover. :)

It is a very good solution. Nice job!!!
I am a very happy Today !!!!!! I already bought my xsr700 60th.
I must wait for 02/07/2016 for my yamaha dealer to deliveri my bike.

For the extra parts ( probably will take 3 weeks to this parts to arrive) :
1x akrapovic Yamaha Full System with Titanium Muffler
1x Billet Frame Tube End CapsXSR700
1x Chain Guard XSR700 Original
1x Radiador cover XSR700 Original
1x Radiator side covers XSR700
Congrats sergiopinto!

That one is almost as fast as the garage metal version :wink2:
Enjoy it in good health.

The picture you posted above was taken by the dealer were I bought mine. Good people.

I thought my Termignoni was loud but changed my mind after hearing that one...
Congratulations sergiopinto! I hope the days will go by quickly!
Good list of extra parts you're getting. I'm thinking of getting the billet frame tube endings, but to be honest I do find them a bit pricey.
