Greetings, after selling my last bike in 2001 after my twin boys were born, I bought a new 2025 XSR 700 on July the 4th. Even though I had lots of miles in my youth, my last bike was a 1996 V Twin. In many ways I feel like a newb all over again but man it has been nice being back out there again. I'm only a weekend rider for pleasure. Mods done.... Kelpi Exhaust, tail tidy, bullet blinkers, created mini saddle bags from bags designed to wear across your torso, leather grip wraps and a 1 inch bar riser, wired in a phone charger.
Next on the list is to replace these TERRIBLE foot pegs! They suck!! Want to get a wider and more off-road style but contrary to everything I read about this bike before purchase about how there is a ton of aftermarket parts available, I'm finding it VERY DIFFICULT to find mods for this machine, very disappointing or I just don't know what exact hairsplitting words to use to find what I'm looking for.
