So excited to be part of this great forum. Brief intro... I am a born again rider looking to sit my DAS course in the next couple of months followed swiftly by the purchase of the brilliant XSR700!
I am planning to do a couple of mods straight off and it would be great to meet up with anyone in/around North London that I could meet up with to get their experience of the bike and particularly anyone who has had an aftermarket exhaust fitted. I am looking at a few options at the moment but really not sure what they'd really sound like in 'real life'. options are current Akropovic either twin black, high mounted single or shorty (as per the aftermarket ones fitted to MT-07s. i want whatever one i get fitted to sound like this as sounds good from what i've seen so far on you tube etc). also considering the IXIL IronHead twin system which looks good.
Also is there a XSR700 meet up coming up anywhere in south of UK?

Welcome to the forum ! I'm sure there should be a good amount of 700s around North London, give it a little and I'm sure the members shall group up and discuss

Have you thought on the SC project? I think it's a great option, nice sound, not that expensive than the Akrapovics and looks and sounds lovely.

The SC project? Do you have a link? I suppose I also ought to consider whether it would void the warranty as I've heard a lot of dealers get funny about this.

About the warranty, I guess it depends of the dealer... mine told me that as long as they install it I'll keep the warranty...

** I haven't installed an exhaust yet, but i'll definitely go for the SC Project unless there's a new option within the next months.
