Hi there everyone

I had a bike 20 years ago. Then I got kids etc. Now I am at a point in my life where I decided to get a bike again. Then I had a Honda CM 400 T, really nice soft-chopper. Now when I research the options I have fallen completely for the Yamaha XSR 700 in forest green.
I am 49 years old and I will mainly use it for commuting to wotk in the medium to badly crowded Copenhagen traffic. Please tell me this is a good bike.
Thanks for a great site by the way folks!

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I think the XSR is a great bike for the city (altough it's much more fun in the mountains of course...). I also use it to commute to Zurich from time to time. It is very nimble and easy to drive, you can definitely use it to filter through traffic. Also the engine runs super smooth and has a lot of torque even in low revs.

You should take it for a test ride if you can.
Thank you. Believe it or not, but the retaliers here don´t give a test ride on a XSR, only on another Yamaha 700 bike.
I have tried sitting on it, and it feels great. What I especially like is the feeling of the handlebars, width and height, it feels just right.
Looking fw to trying it, however.
