Glad to have yet another new person on the forum. What was the last bike you had?
Good choice picking the XSR700 over other bikes because this is in a way a "sweet spot" for anyone looking for a bike regardless of experience or anything for that matter.

I really like Red XSR, but at the same time, green looks good too. Not sure about mods yet, probably radiator cover and short brake levers.

If you plan on riding a lot in the sun then I hope you have plans for maintaining that red because overall red is known to fade a lot if you don't go through the proper preventative steps to ensure that doesn't happen.I really like Red XSR, but at the same time, green looks good too. What type of special maintenance are you talking about? Everyday bike wash or something else?
