Hey there, welcome aboard. Great choice although i'm biased haha.. any mods planned yet??

No mods planned at the moment, I'm still new to the scene. I already have a mod addiction with Jeeps, so this will have to stay fairly unchanged for a little while (or at least till the warranty runs out). However, I have ordered a fly screen and gas tank pads.

I'm sure once you've had a look around on here the modding itch will start....:laugh:

Now that mod is a must.... first thing i did was to change the exhaust, waited till i'd done the 600 mile run in/service though.

Can i ask why yamaboy? My thunking on this was to keep stock untill after my warranty has run out but after calling the main dealer and them telling me they have never had a warranty void over a aftermarket can especialy from a rep dealer. Also they can come with the akro fitted from new so surely it cant be an issue on run in can it?

Purely out of precaution really, it was only when I took it in for the 600 mile service that I asked about the exhaust and they said pretty much the same thing, that they weren't too bothered about an aftermarket exhaust being fitted... he did say that they'd had a few MT-07's in with running problems due to aftermarket exhausts....but my mate has a Leovince exhaust on his MT-07 and I've the SP engineering on mine and both run great... so just to reiterate it was just my own precaution.

I just went through my licensing road test this morning to move from Learner category to Restricted category. Big achievement given that I only started riding motorcycles 3 months ago. Biggest reward, I don't have to display the big yellow L plate now!
