Greetings folks, I've put down my deposit and aiming to collect in 5 days.
Anniversary ex-demo XSR700, I'm upgrading from a Vespa GT200 which I've been driving around the city centre (London) for the last 10 years.

I'm off to the NEC Motorbike show (Birmingham UK) to kit myself out with gear next week prior to collection, hopefully bargains galore.

If any of you have recommendations on GPS trackers, I'd appreciate it - there seems to be a few options and not much between them so puzzled really on which to get. Apparently 48% if all vehicle crime in my borough are motorbike thefts - makes me a bit nervous to be honest.

I find that thieves generally go for the sporty looking bikes like ducati and Hondas, my concern is more for those who like to touch other people's property or sit on it. Never really looking into security options. There's a few UK options out there but you'll have to research some reviews and see how they perform.

Any specific gear you're looking for at the NEC Motorbike show?

Welcome to the forum! I know your fear, always paranoid someone is going to tip my bike over and my friend had a bike stolen before.

Here are two options I've been looking at.

Although you can never fully prevent it I have learned to be very strategic about where I park, and sometimes it results in parking on sidewalks in high foot traffic areas which to some people also isn't ideal but sure better than having someone back up into your bike with their car.
