Like most people one of the few criticisms I would level at the xsr700 is the lack of noise from the exhaust. Without the option of a slip on can my options were limited as I couldn’t justify spending hundreds on a exhaust system relative to the price of the bike.

After some internet research I settled on a GPR deeptone full exhaust system. It really adds the thumping soundtrack the bike deserves and imo looks the part. Much lighter than stock too. Here is a YouTube video of the sound (not my bike)

It is louder than stock and comes with 2 removable baffles. I left them both in as I felt like it was loud enough!

I didn’t have much practical knowledge in fitting exhausts and one of the selling points for me was a complete video from the supplier of how to remove the old exhaust and fit the new one.....

The only additional tools required were a couple of spanners and a sprocket set with breaker bar. Piece of cake!

The supplier assured me that the exhaust did not require a remap and was designed as a ‘plug and play’ product. The bike has run fine since the change.

Selling as I am changing my bike. The GPR exhaust I’m selling has about 1000 miles put on it. Bought for £360. Selling for £180 inc postage to uk address.

The exhaust is now off the bike as shown in picture below. The pipe work has obviously tarnished a little due to the heat but the system is free from any damage or scrapes. Thanks for reading
