Great find! It's not the hardest mod to do, just a bit time consuming for anyone installing a tail tidy for the first time. He had a great tip about labeling the wires as it can get confusing.

Sweet ! First post in the new sub-forum category thing. This is one that'll be great for a lot of users considering it's one of the first modifications people make.

Before anyone proceeds with installing a fender eliminator kit, first make sure it won't be a problem with the local cops. Sometimes the level of problems it builds with them just renders going through this just pointless.

Probably dependent on how salty the cops are feeling that day, so long as the license plate is visible as are all required signals there shouldn't be any problems.

Well if it turns out being legal then by all means go right ahead, can't stop salty cops after that, just take it to court. But if you know its illegal and you can get a warning or worse ticketed then that's on you.

This might be a good time for some of you to keep a copy of your local Highway Traffic Act on you, PDF version of course.

Not worth spending the money and time to get these only to pay off a ticket that amounts to what the tidy costs or more.

definitely good watch on youtube. his videos, more like his exhaust and it's sound tbh, are one of the reasons I chose to get the XSR over the MT07. You see many MT07s around but not that many XSRs. Feels good to be different.
