Yeah, completely normal, when spending time in slow moving traffic etc.

Not a problem. The cooling fan should have kicked in and started doing its job by then. When you see steam coming from the radiator cap and heading for your knee, then it's time to stop, switch off and allow things to cool down!

Thanks everyone i was concerned my radiator guard may of been restricting air flow over the rad.

Do not worry, its perfectly ok. Yamahas run at high temperature level.
