Disc holder & positioning it

Hey all..

I'm a UK rider and I need to display a circular parking permit the size of the old UK road tax disc
(about 5 inch diameter). This is because I live in a London borough which insist on it .. for it to be parked in resident motorcycle bays !

Last year I just fastened it to my tank but it looks so so bad. :frown2:
I'd like to put it somewhere else...
Has anyone else faced this ? and what solution did you come up with ?

Just use a tax disc holder and bolt it on out the way?

Had to google what the disc looked like and it's pretty prominent and ugly.
Maybe something like this guy who bought an Oxford tax disc holder and mounted it to the wheel?
