Black Widow Exhaust

Hi

I recently ordered a Black Widow exhaust but thinking of exchanging it.

Originally I went for the carbon tip oval but think the round carbon might suit the bike better - it's a bit more old skool.

Has anyone got one? Here's one on an MT07. I can't find an image with it on an XSR showing the whole bike.

Cheers

That was my first choice but the price was just a little too much.

I'm leaning towards the round one because 1. it's cheaper and 2. for me, it's more suited to the bike.

Being all carbon definitely fits in with the rest of the bike. Perhaps I should raid the kids money boxes.
What's the difference in price? got the whole system for £300.

£20. Not much I know. But just bought the Evotech tail tidy and paid for service which was £200.

I want to get new bars - thinking of the XSR900 bars which hopefully will be predrilled. That's another £90.

And relocate the speedo. Bracket about £40

Maybe single seat and rack.£200?

The War Department doesn't know I'm spending this of course.

Expensive habit this modifying business.
Hi,

My 2018 arrived yesterday, fitted with a Black Widow system with no baffle - embarrasingly/illegally/stupidly loud. So I ordered a baffle which arrived today and made little difference. Is there anything I can do to quiet it further, either repacking it or do I just bit the bullet and fit a different system? Its the 300mm can with carbon tip.

I had black widow headers and a go style can on until last week. No baffle. Loud lots of bangs and pops. Just changed to sc project. I think both gave the old school look. The gp more so but I was after a deeper growl and the black styling

I like how it looks, but the village community will take pitchforks to me if I ride around as it is. Have ordered some packing, see if that takes the edge off.

I just got my Black Widow exhaust installed today! Did alot of research, youtube, etc before deciding. Alot of online reviews had that "you get what you pay for" attitude towards it, but I was thoroughly impressed with overall quality when I opened the box. Fit was great and definitely looks good!

The sound is great, nice and low. Really wakes the bike up now. Baffle in is still pretty loud. Baffle out would probably be too much noise. Kind of raspy at high rpm and you're flicking the throttle when stopped, but overall good when cruising and when you get on it.
I have some slight popping when deceling. No flash/re-tune yet.

Best FULL exhaust system I think you'll find for about $400!!!
