Aint flush, which was why I though stamped cus they feel quite raised to me...but nope decals apparently (according to yamaha spain). The vinyl wrap on the side panels was about £100 - just done by a sign company I've used before that are down the road from me. They wrapped the metallic panels you can buy saying it would apply better than the plastic ones. Thanks for your reply Piers. Love the look of your bike! How much did the vinyl wrap set you back? Its convenient to be able to make it original again![]()
If you take a look at the tank construction it should become clear which three panels Piers is talking about :wink2:Hmm... What panels are you referring to? The side panels that many people are mesh-modding?
I'd also appreciate if you could tell me a bit more about the removal of the "tank". You mentioned earlier that it's not a tank, rather 3 panels. I understand the middle one but what about the other 2? Cheers! :grin2:
