Notice the pipe in the factory pic, problem is with all the stuff under the engine (not a bad idea having it there, makes a bit of a protective bash plate), makes the upswept part look like a total afterthought. They could do something like the old 1972 BSA Gold Star 500, except that it might be a bit hot with the cat convertor.
I kind of like the look of headlight grill, but not for €140.07 + Shipping! That price is with VAT. It looks like they just bolted on a grill to the OEM bezel too. I may copy that idea with some lexan or perspex. It might be fun to play with some painted on patterns applied to the back side and give a little protection to the actual light in the case of a rock strike.
