ABS light staying on

4412 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  hombacher
Ever since my bike was returned to me after being pinched the abs light has been on. I know there was a lot of burnouts done on it as the rear tyre was wrecked, but that’s all I know.

Any help appreciated!

I'd suggest you to bring your bike to another Yamaha dealer as soon as you can, preventing is never enough!
abs is really useful on these bikes in the current weather we have in the UK, yours will not be functional so get it looked at mate (unless you're somewhere warm)

first thing is to pull the codes, you have a sensor on front, one on rear and a controller with pump, actuators etc, it'll likely need something replaced

you could check it's all still plugged in? maybe the scum bags unplugged it so they could lock it up?

That sounds like a good plan!
I recently dropped my fork for an oil change, no my ABS light is on full-time, no ABS. Whats the fix?
...check if the ABS sensor is back in place and you screwed it again?
