12000 mile service

just found out my 12000 mile service is going to cost me £300+ next month. They need it for a full day to grease the steering head bearings and rear suspension linkage and tie bars + oil change and filter and all the other adjustments apparantly there are two full pages of things to do.
Is this because it usually takes two years to do a 12000 miles not one. I would like to see a list of things to do on the 12000 mile service to see what i get for my money:surprise::wink2:

@stubbsey. What seat you got there on? Doesn't look oem is it an after market one?

its standard in that picture with a leather strap i made. but have since got a second hand seat took of the cover cut 1" of the original seat foam and put 2" of softer foam in
