I'd say it's more to do with keeping your warranty valid.... and the oil that's in is purely for the running in period (thinner, so i'm told), so needs changing out and of course to check everything is okay in general.Hi guys!
March has arrived and is time to bring out the green beast again! I am now going to have the XSR recall done, and since my bike has 950+ kilometers, they asked me to also do the 1000km check.
Do you think that this 1000km check is actually necessary? Am i just wasting money on it? I've heard a lot of people and friends who say that our bike should just be checked every 7000-10000 kilometers........

For the cost i wouldn't risk not having it done, but i do think if it was bought new it should have been included in the price.
